Singer says reports that Jay-Z threatened to end his career over Rihanna are false

Chris Brown has denied reports that Jay-Z warned him that if he ever hurt his protégé Rihanna again, he would end his music career.

In an interview with US radio station Power 106, Brown said their conversation was "cordial. It was real respectful. It was nothing like that. Me and him, it was like a green room [situation] and it was cool."

He added: "People like to take it and run with it because they have nothing else…The funny thing is that with all these rumours and stuff, is that with other artists you'll hear 30 different rumours in a week and maybe one sticks. Everything with me sticks, everyone believes everything that somebody says, so you don't know what to pick from!"

Earlier today, Brown's duet with his ex girlfriend Rihanna titled 'Nobody's Business' leaked online. The track features on the singer's new album 'Unapologetic', which is due for release on November 19.

Rihanna originally split with Brown in 2009 after he assaulted her. The pair are rumoured to be dating again, but Brown denied that they were back together in the Power 106 interview, adding that relations between the pair were "cordial".

Rapper also says he wants to bring David Beckham to the Glasgow team

Snoop Dogg has said he wants to buy shares in Celtic Football Club.

The rapper, who recently changed his name to Snoop Lion, says he wants a seat on the Glasgow football team's board and is preparing to shell out millions to get involved, reports the Sunday Mail.

Snoop was inspired to invest in the team after watching highlights of their surprising 2-1 win over FC Barcelona in then Uefa Champions League earlier this month.

He said: "I've got a lot of interest in soccer. It's not a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in sports teams but it is a new thing for hip hop stars to invest in soccer teams. While he is hoping to join the board, Snoop has said that he has no interest in owning the club but said he wants to invest enough "to be heard" and hopes to "bring a bit of Snoop to things".

One of the rapper's plans is to bring Ex-Manchester United and current LA Galaxy footballer David Beckham to Glasgow. "I would try and sign him up for a season but he is pretty happy over here," said Snoop. "LA is home for him and his family now, but I would have to at least make that offer to my boy."

Snoop Dogg recently unveiled a video for the track 'La, La, La' - scroll down to watch it. The video is the first that Snoop has put out after his change in direction from rapper to reggae artist.

However, the boyband's new record 'Take Me Home' is this week's UK Number One Album

One Direction have failed to secure the fastest-selling UK album of 2012, despite promising mid-week sales.

However, the boyband's second album, 'Take Me Home', has taken the top spot in the UK Album Chart by out-selling nearest rival, Rod Stewart's 'Merry Christmas Baby', who is at Number Two, by more than three copies to one, according to the Official Chart Company.

Last year, One Direction's debut 'Up All Night' was kept off the top spot by Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk'. But with a final first-week sales tally of 155,000 copies, they have failed to take the title of this year's fastest-selling album away from Mumford and Sons. Their album, 'Babel', shifted 158,000 copies in a week.
